GIFT PROGRAM AND FAQs
Overview
Generations in Formation Together (GIFT) is an intergenerational, family-based faith formation program. The goal of GIFT is to help people become better disciples by integrating faith, worship, and life in light of the Gospel.
GIFT uses a liturgy-centered, lifelong approach to faith formation. The concept is for everyone to be learning the same things, including parents, grandparents, kids, and teens.
Bringing generations together within the church affirms each person's value in the total community, regardless of age.

Frequently Asked Questions:
What is Generations in Formation Together (GIFT)?
GIFT is a monthly opportunity for people across generations to gather together to learn about scripture, liturgy, history, tradition, and other aspects of our common life in Christ and the Church, especially at Grace Church in Haddonfield.
When does GIFT happen?
GIFT gatherings occur on the 3rd Sunday of the month from September to May during the formation hour (9am).
Who is invited to participate in this program?
Anyone is invited to participate in this program. Grace Church Haddonfield takes seriously our responsibility for helping support every baptized Christian on their lifelong journey of learning, growing, changing, and engaging with God, one’s self, and one another.
Why GIFT?
In the sacrament of baptism, the congregation gathered responds that they will “do all in your power to support these persons in their life in Christ.” Since 2009, the congregation of Grace Haddonfield has affirmed this covenantal promise (a promise which involves not only the person responding but also God, God’s self) more than 332 times. We know that each person carries with them the wisdom of God, of Creation, and of their experiences, and as followers of Jesus Christ, we are commissioned to share that Good News (the Gospel) with others. Essentially we recognize that each one of us has something to learn and something to teach about faith, life, and community. In the interest of recognizing that truth, we wanted to bring together all generations to share their experience, wisdom, and truth around themes and ideas which are held in common in our community.
